ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Delsy Rubio

Nace en Maracaibo, Venezuela. De 1979 a 1982 estudió en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas Julio Árraga en Maracaibo, Venezuela, obteniendo el título de Expresión Plástica Mención Dibujo y Pintura y de 1982 – 1985 obteniendo el título de Expresión Plástica Mención Artes Gráficas.

Desde el año 1982 a 1997 trabajó en el medio gráfico y publicitario ocupando cargos estratégicos, entre otros: Jefe de Arte en MTS publicidad en 1988-89, Directora de Arte de Producciones Crea SA de Publicidad 1995 – 96 y Directora de Arte de Molinares Publicidad en 1996 – 97; realizando durante ese período varios cursos y seminarios dentro y fuera del país, como: Seminario “Computador a…” Opciones para cada uno de los Segmentos de las Artes Gráficas y su Vialidad. Printing Association of Florida. Graphics of The Americas. Miami, Florida – USA en 1996.

Freelance desde 1997 destacando en el desarrollo de imagen corporativa, impresos, publicidad emotiva, galerías de arte y áreas expositivas. En el período 2004 – 2011 desarrolló la imagen gráfica de la Feria Internacional de Arte y Antigüedades de Maracaibo (FIAAM) en Venezuela, estos 8 años con la feria de arte que se realiza a beneficio del Centro de Arte de Maracaibo y los Niños con Cáncer, despiertaron su emotividad hacia el compromiso social y al mismo tiempo la llevan al reencuentro con lo que fuera sus estudios iniciales, las artes plásticas, desarrollando una técnica propia en relieves aplicando las nuevas tecnologías. Más allá de lo que pudiesen significar el arte y el diseño, en el año 2011 para ampliar su una visión integral realizó el curso Metáforas del Éxito con el Dr. Edmundo Velásco director de la Escuela Superior de PNL en México, y en 2012 – 13 con el curso de Liderazgo Programa Avanzado de Emprendimiento PAE en la Escuela de Formación EmprendoMás en Maracaibo, Venezuela, con la certeza, de que aplicados al arte y al diseño, se inspira y se crece. Desde 2011 trabaja con una visión de éxito en el Arte y el Diseño.

Giuseppe Piovesan

Born in Rio de Janeiro with an Italian and Austrian heritage, and by destiny  he lived in different cultural capitals in the world. Such as Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Brussels and London. He could not have imagined that later this cultural baggage will bring to him a wide cultural blend of vision of an ease cultural adaptation throughout his life.  Also for have lived more than the half of his life in French-speaking cities he acquired an international Francophone education.

For his visual Art, Giuseppe Piovesan work with many mediums and different techniques as a 21st century “plasticien”. His work ranges from to fine arts, urban art, illustration to photography passing by Interior design, decorative arts. Also extend to involve fashion, including a brief collaboration with Alexander McQueen and comme des garçons.

Son of an Art-Historian Mother and the Grandson of one of organizers of ‘La Mostra sul Futurismo Italiano’ in Rom in the 1930’s. It not only brought him a grand influence in the art world but the fact of being a natural born Artist.

Mai Yap

Born in the Republic of Panama of Chinese parents, MaiYap has been able to magically blend East and West on canvas. Within the walls of her parent’s home, she was immersed in the beauty, balance and perfection of millennial traditions passed on from one generation to another. Once outside these walls, her senses were overcome by the amazing colors, sounds and energy of the Tropics. Panama provided a bustling backdrop of exciting people, places, and music. Most importantly, its natural surroundings provided the perfect artistic inspiration.

Manfred Paar

Born on 24, July, 1973 in Neunkirchen/Austria, my talent with brush and colour was already recognised in my early childhood. Because of my interest and love in art and my jobs at architecture practices the focus of my actions has always been on creativity.

As an autodidact I have been painting since 2000 and since then I have always been trying to refine my expression and technique.

Always in search of THE special expression in my art, I wanted to develop a unique and distinctive style. I believe that I’ve found my own style now and I want to turn over to a new chapter of my artistic work. From now on I’m going to concentrate mainly on the aesthetics of the male body in my works. Masculinity in all its facets will be expressed in tasteful compositions.

The paintings will emanate love for life and power – but also the sensibility behind the often far too perfect facade. In their own way the motifs are partly provocative but still deeply human.

By my artistic exploration the theme masculinity will be illuminated comprehensively and the man will be up heaved to an object of art.

Stephanie Holznecht

I am originally from the southeast coast of England immigrating with my family to the United States at the age of eighteen. I shall always carry those memories of my life in England, and I have on many occassions allowed the emotions those memories bring to influence my present day work.

Upon arrival in the USA I attended university and obtained a BA in graphic design and fine art. Over the course of 10 years I worked in the design industry as a graphic designer and art director. During that time I maintained my connection to the fine art world by concentrating on realism in pen and ink and acrylic painting.

My current artistic style has changed dramatically from earlier years, moving from realism into abstract painting. My abstract movement was prompted by some workshops I attended at the Peninsular Art School, Fish Creek, Door County, Wisconsin. They inspired me to let go of my minutely detailed realistic artwork and free myself up to feel art in a totally different manner. This was very exhilarating for me.

Txemi Novoa

Txemi Novoa se Licenció con honores en Bellas Artes en la Universidad del País Vasco. También estudió Cerámica en las escuelas más importantes de España (Sargadelos y La Bisbal) además de especializarse en Escultura en Bronce en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Deba (Vizcaya) fundada por Jorge Oteiza.

Inició su carrera artística como artista seleccionado para la creación de una escultura del Centenario de la Fundación de Ortuella además de ser también seleccionado por el reconocido artista chino Caí Guo-Quiang para la realización en el Museo Guggenheim de Bilbao del proyecto “El patio de la recaudación de la renta. Forma parte también del equipo artístico que elabora y ejecuta el proyecto “Parque de escultores vascos Meatzaldea Goikoa” en la Arboleda (Vizcaya) junto a autores como: Néstor Barrenetxea, Ricardo Ugalde y Vicente Larrea. En la actualidad ejerce de artista pintor y escultor además de profesor ´de arte en diversas escuelas.

Durante los últimos años ha realizado multitudes de trabajos para municipios e instituciones tanto regionales como extranjeras.
