Project Description

Helium Hum

Nina Torres Fine Art is pleased to present Helium Hum, Cristina Molina’s first solo exhibition of video works in Miami.

Molina’s works have been exhibited in both local and international venues such as North Miami MoCA, The Frost Art Museum, SCOPE Miami  and ArteAmericas.

Helium Hum focuses on the mouth as a portal through which exchanges of desire, consumption, and excess are mediated. In exploiting emblematic gestures and images, these works transition from the seemingly benign to the sickeningly sweet.

Please join Nina Torres Fine Art for the opening of Helium Hum, Saturday, January 8, 2011 7-10 p.m during the Wynwood gallery walk. The exhibition will be on display until January 29, 2011.

The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. To contact us please call 305.395.3599 or visit www.ninatorresfineart.com
